Head of School
Adeline holds a Bachelor's degree in Early Education from Edith Cowan University and is a certified Trainer for the Australian Child Care Academy in Perth, where she has trained teachers and been involved in advanced education research. Throughout her career as an early educator, Adeline has gained extensive experience as a PYP (Primary Years Programme) coordinator and has in-depth knowledge of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) and Montessori curricula.
Despite her passion for early education, Adeline firmly believes in the importance of lifelong learning. To this end, she has continued to advance her knowledge in the field of special education, with the goal of providing tailored support to children with additional education needs.
Prior to joining BKIK, Adeline worked as an educator in Malaysia, Australia, and Hong Kong, amassing over 25 years of experience in teaching and developing curriculum for young learners. She has been working in China for the past 15 years, with 10 years in Shanghai and 5 years in Guangdong, specialising in the education industry. During this time, Adeline has served as the Head of Early Years for international schools in both Shanghai and Guangzhou.
In addition to her professional achievements, Adeline has a great passion for the arts. She has studied RAD (Royal Academy of Dance) ballet and ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) piano from a young age, and she continues to play the piano during her free time. Adeline also enjoys cooking, reading, and visiting art galleries.
Adeline is thrilled about her new role and eagerly anticipates collaborating with the talented team, connecting with the parents, and most importantly, engaging with the children in the upcoming school year.
